PIGSi am a 4-H member and have been since 2000. i do 4-H market pigs. we get the pigs in April and raise them till august. we feed them and walk them with canes. i love pigs. they are so cool. most people think pigs just do nothing but lay in slop. well there partialy right. if there is a mud puddle they will use it.
us 4-Hers, we exercise our pigs, we want them as muscular a possible, so they can rank well in the judging compotion. there is also a showmanship compotition. it is there were the 4-Her is judged, and not the pigs. i got reseved junor chapion showman. i am pretty proud of myself for that.at the end of the fair comes the auction. thats where we sell our pigs to the highest bidder. its a lott of fun
