scoliosis
eww.... its been a 24 days sinse my last post. i am very sorry... i have no readers so what do they care!
ok
umm
this is a report i did for sculliosus... it sucks.
Scoliosis means curvature of the spine. The spine is shaped like the letter "s". They appear to hunch over a lot. Some people with scoliosis are referred to as "hunchbacks".
There are many causes for scoliosis. One cause is bad posture in adolescents. Some people with one leg longer than the other tend to lean toward the longer leg. Thus causing scoliosis. When old folks lose bone mass they start to hunch over which causes scoliosis. Some adults with scoliosis have to be back braces for many years. After having scoliosis for a long time you can end up in a wheel chair.
Luckily scoliosis is curable dieses. For almost every cause there is cure. The kids with bad posture can exercises to straiten the curve. The old people can take medication to strengthen their bone mass. The people with leg problems can buy special shoes.
At the beginning of the year the nurse check us to see if we had scoliosis. She said one in five students have scoliosis.
